Henry St. Claire and the Narragansett Pacer
I’m one of those crazy Americans who believes the Scotsman Henry St. Clair came to America and that the structure in Narragansett Bay is a Templar Church. I believe it is aligned with the Kennsington Stone that was found in Minnesota thousands of miles away but on a straight line with one of the openings in the ‘church’.

But that being said….IF Henry St. Clair came to America..it is very possible that as a knight….he had ponies transported to America with him and that the famous pacer from that region could be decendents of the ponies he MAY have brought with him.
This would make the Icelandic the first horse in America.

this is an interesting article. I’ve been watching our History Channel and I’m convinced this happened.
Although Squanto in the Disney movie may be a girl HE was a man who helped save the Pilgrams. I am not a fan of the pilgrams.

It’s an interesting idea bedb. If the Norse and a Welsh prince are said to have beat Columbus and landed in North America, I suppose Scottish noble may have.
Please don’t blame us for the Pilgrim Fathers, if you had the opportunity to unload some dour religious fanatics I am sure you would have to.
Re: Henry St. Claire and the Narragansett Pacer
the funny thing is the Pilgrams were living in Holland where there was religious freedom..but those dour fanatics…LOL….wanted isolation. Makes me think of cult mentality. My English ancestors were in Jamestown and then further south….I’ve got more Scottish ancestors than anyone else. Clan Skeen on both sides.
Actually I have an ancestress who wrote about Powhatan’s war with the colonists after the death of Pocahantas.
