The Bristol Society for Paranormal Research & Investigation
B.S.P.R.I (Bristol Society for Paranormal Research & Investigation) was founded back in October 2003 by 3 former members of Bristol Ghost club.
Their vision was to form a group with a more scientific approach to investigating alledged hauntings.
The group has very much evolved since those early days and continues to be a learning curve for everyone of our members.

The group has very much evolved since those early days and continues to be a learning curve for everyone of our members.
We currently have 15 investigative members on our team, all with different roles within the group and from all walks of life. 5 of our members (me included) are members of ASSAP, taking part in training weekends and conferences and we hope to be affiliated with them in the not too distant future.
There are many groups out there who carry out assumption-led investigations. We are not one of them. Our investigations are evidence-led.
If you are interested in thrillseeking, there are many corporate groups around that will be only to happy to take your money, take you to a spooky castle and turn the lights off and give you a fright.
However, if you are intrigued by the prospect of investigating a property based on evidence alone, then BSPRI is probably the group for you.
If you are from the Bristol or surrounding area and would like to find out more about us, you can find us on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/pages/BSPRI/148948968863 and Twitter https://twitter.com/BSPRI and we also have public forums.
The public forums are open to non members to join and is full of interesting articles to read and comment on. Its also a chance to interact with the BSPRI team members and find out a bit more about us.
