Where Are The White Ladies?

Why aren’t we getting more of the same now? Why do we just get pictures of Orbs? Where have the White Ladies gone?
Re: White Ladies
THis is something that I have wondered about too, what with the prevalence of digital cameras these days even extending to those on mobile phones you would imagine more unexplained images would be turning up from various sources. Also the ever ubiquitous CCTV should be picking up "unexplained phenomena" in supposedly haunted places too. All the clips I have seen so far have either been out-right fakes (Hampton Court for instance) or just blurred insects moving in erratic ways.

Every now and again we have photographs submitted to Mysteriousbritain which are usually explained away, however we never see any of the same caliber as the really famous ghost pictures, such as Tulip Staircase, Brown Lady or the Monk by the altar. These pictures seem to have stood up to scrutiny over the years, however with the recent lack of similar pictures is it fair to assume they were faked? If so how?

Hmm… I submitted, on the old forum, quite a few modern pictures that are interesting and similar to the White Lady picture, though almost all modern images of that nature are subject to some controversy re thier legitimacy.
In all honesty, any such images taken now (real or not) are subject to people trying to make a name for themselves by either seeking to prove the image as legitimate or make name for themselves by disproving the image in question.
While there is much good research and investigation from this, there are also some manufactured controversies, with both sides producing questionable witnesses with dubious motives.
