late 1986 our family moved into a newly built council house in Waterlooville Hampshire. We had a good income and could afford to get carpets and new furniture. Several months passed and we settled in. One evening when the three children were asleep in bed my husband was out and I was sat with my sister watching the telly.

Several months passed and we settled in. One evening when the three children were asleep in bed my husband was out and I was sat with my sister watching the telly. I suddenly felt a cold area between myself and my sister, i said nothing untill my sister asked me if I could feel that, I looked at her and we both froze as the frontroom door flew open and then swung back and forth at a violent rate.this was not an easy thing to happen as we had thick carpets and the door was stiff to close, We held our breath frozen to the spot untill it finished and then collapsed in terror clinging onto each other. we did not tell anyone and I made my sister stay with me the next night to see if it would happen again, it did at the same time 9.20 pm, this time we screamed and ran out the house. We told my husband and he got some friends to come over to see if it would happen again, no one believing anything would happen, it did and everyone except me and my sister ran out. I did not want the attention so I kept other events to myself. The smell in the house was at times overpowering so I had the council out, digging the back yard up to check the drains, nothing was found. The time I was in a hypnotic state and the house had a dense silence to it for some strange reason I took the the children upstairs into my bedroom and we all just sat silently while the neighbours were banging on the door telling me there was smoke coming from the kitchen window, I snapped out of it went to the kitchen and the white smoke dissapeared, not wanting the attention again I told them it was the tumble dryer. The time I picked up the phone to call my dad and I visualised a million wasps flying out my mouth into the phone, I screamed threw the phone down and my Dad thought something terriable had happened, when he came round again i pretendid it was something and nothing. The Clock on the wall would change time and fall off the wall, pictures would move. I was once sat in my neighbours and the front door opened and thudding foot steps were heared going up the stairs into the bedromm when we went up to investigate nothing was there.
I took my 3 kids and moved, not because of the strange things going on, our marriage was not healthy and part of me thinks this could of been one of the reasons the strange things happened.
a lot of other things have occured before and after, that i can maybe put down to my imagination. as there were witneses to these i thought I would share them to see if anyone has some suggestions. I would like to believe it was the trouble we had in our marriage and maybe it was because i had deppression without knowing, I think I prefer to believe that.
