Bedd Gorfal
Bedd Gorfal is also known as the Harlech stone circle and is situated close to the ancient Fonlief Hir track way. There are eight stones in the four metre diameter circle, five of them are easily visible and three are small and easily overlooked. The tallest stone is only about one metre tall, and it is split. There is a depression in the centre of the circle, so there may have been some excavating there in the past. Due to its small size, the circle is thought to be the remains of a cairn circle (a Neolithic burial covered with stones).
