Aveley Abduction (1974)

This is a famous case within the annals of UFO history, but it must be stressed that the abduction scenario only emerged after hypnotic regression, which at best is highly unreliable.

On 27th October 1974 John and Alain Avis (pseudonyms) were driving home to Aveley with their three children, when they ran into a green fog.

Brixham UFO (1967)

On the 28th of April 1967 a flying saucer (UFO) was seen over the town by numerous witnesses. The object was first spotted by the coast guard (somebody used to observing) at Berry Head around midday.

The object hovered over the town at around 1600 feet for an hour. The UFO is said to have resembled a huge dome, eventually the UFO ascended rapidly and disappeared out of sight.

Moigne Down UFO (1967)

On 26 October 1967 at about 11.25 am, J.B.W. Brooks was walking his two dogs, an Alsatian and a Dalmatian, along the Moigne Down near Holworth during a force eight gale. He took shelter by lying down on his back in a hollow in the ground.

The Coniston UFO

On the 15 February 1954 Stephen Derbyshire, then 14, saw and photographed a UFO on the slopes of the Old Man of Coniston, above Coniston Village. The picture was blurred but the case became a classic of UFO literature of the time.

Burgh Marsh

24th May 1964, Jim Templeton (then 44) on an outing with his wife and two daughters, took a picture of his daughter holding a posy of wild flowers near a stretch of marshland by the Solway Firth. When this was developed it showed what appeared to be a white-suited entity wearing a black visor standing behind his daughter in a strange perspective.

Runcorn UFO (1957)

James Cook reported that he had spent two days on a UFO that he climbed on board on a hill outside Runcorn in Cheshire on 7th September 1957.

Aylesbury UFO (1973)

On 11th January 1973, Peter Day, employed as a surveyor was driving towards Aylesbury when he witnessed an amber light near some tree tops about a mile away from his location, the object seemed to be pulsating.

Peter had a film camera with him at the time and managed to film the object, which was examined by Kodak and passed as genuine.

Kfar Hawald Encounter 1996

On October 20, thirty three year old Eli Hawald, had a UFO encounter in the village of Kfar Hawald. According to Barry Chamish, journalist and Israel based UFO Investigator ‘The tiny village has no electricity and when Eli Hawald went outside at 11:00 PM, all was too clear for him. "Out of nowhere I saw a gigantic green light, the colour of a traffic light, fall out of the sky.
