At around 5.00am on 28th November 1980 in Todmordon, PC Alan Godfrey, who was checking out a routine call on a local estate, was driving up Burnley Road, when he saw what he thought was a bus across the road further ahead of him. On 16th July 1981near Telford three women travelling in a car witnessed a UFO, and then suffered a period of missing time. When they were hypnotically regressed they all remembered different details and entities as part of an abduction scenario.
Albert Burtoo stands as the oldest UFO abductee, if his story is to be taken at face value. He was aged 77 at the time of the incident, and had just settled for a nights fishing session on the side of Basingstoke Canal on 12th August 1983. At about 1.00pm he noticed a bright light, which he took to be an army Helicopter from the nearby Para base.
This is a famous case within the annals of UFO history, but it must be stressed that the abduction scenario only emerged after hypnotic regression, which at best is highly unreliable.
On 27th October 1974 John and Alain Avis (pseudonyms) were driving home to Aveley with their three children, when they ran into a green fog.
James Cook reported that he had spent two days on a UFO that he climbed on board on a hill outside Runcorn in Cheshire on 7th September 1957.
On October 20, thirty three year old Eli Hawald, had a UFO encounter in the village of Kfar Hawald. According to Barry Chamish, journalist and Israel based UFO Investigator ‘The tiny village has no electricity and when Eli Hawald went outside at 11:00 PM, all was too clear for him. "Out of nowhere I saw a gigantic green light, the colour of a traffic light, fall out of the sky.
