 In september of 1999 i saw a ghost cat on three seperate occasions. i have never really spoke about it to anyone but recently it has been on my mind..                                                                     I saw the ghost cat at my girlfriends house in hinckley leicestershire ..she also saw it but made it clear that she didnt want to talk about it. Infact she didnt want me to talk about it to anybody else . she was obviously aware of the ghost cat and had seen it before. We split up not long after i saw the ghost, so i dont know what it was or what she knew about it..              All i know is that what i saw wasnt a real cat. It had no features i could see. It was like a shadow in the shape of a cat.                                                                                                                    The first time i saw the ‘ghost’ i was laying on the sofa at night with only the light from the television lighting the room. At first i thought my girlfriends cat had come to see me and as it made its way down the side of the sofa i put my hand out to stroke it but my hand went straight through it and it just dissappeared. I jumped up and turned the light on but nothing was there and i noticed the door it came through was shut and no cat could have got into the lounge anyway.. The second time i saw it was in the early hours as i went to use the toilet. It ran into the bathroom before me . Again it dissappeared .                                                                  The last time i saw it was from in the car as we pulled onto her driveway..there it was in the window. It was the clearest view i got of it. I guess it was looking straight at us but because it was virtually featureless it was hard to tell. we both watched it as it seemed to rise and melt away. we had a good ten seconds to watch it before it faded away..                                                What was it ? has anybody had a similar experience. I know what i saw was not a real animal I wasnt really scared – just shocked and i remember the hairs on my neck standing up as we watched it through the window.. Is there an explanation or did i really see something from the other side ?
