I’m Jackie and live in the village of Spixworth, just north of Norwich, Norfolk.
I’ve been interested in the paranormal for some years now. My great aunt started me off with her tale of a sighting just up the road from me around the time of the First World War. I then had a couple of strange things happen to me in more recent years, in Norwich but, needless to say, I thought it was my imagination. But my interest was then revitalised when a friend of my mum’s recounted an odd event which involved a close and very reliable friend!
I came across this site while I was looking into the story of Sawney Bean in order to publish an article (I’m a freelance writer/work from home digital transcriber) and became so fascinated by the wealth of info that I just HAD to become a member!!
I love writing articles based on history, particularly murder cases, as well as folklore and the bases for some of our older traditions.

I am into everything paranormal, lol
I ran into this site while I was doing research on Scotland,
and I’m happy I did. I don’t follow a particular tradition.
I guess I am still searching for my fit.
