Haunted Battlefields
There are plenty of stories about battlefield ghosts from all around the world. Sometimes they vary from just the noise of battle and others they are supposedly seen as full blown battlefield appartions, or columns of troop movement. Again I think the sheer scale of these hauntings could lead to some interesting thoughts on what ghosts actually are.
Eyewitnesses and medical professionals
Something someone wrote on another post got me thinking. The post said as an investigator you should try to make subjects/victims feel at ease. While I don’t think an investigator should make them feel uncomfortable, nor should they be ridiculed, I think that putting them at ease suggests that you would have to give them reassurances which couldn’t really be fulfilled.
Naming Ghosts
Is it good practice to anthropomorphize a ghost, hence give it a name?

We recieved the following e-mail from one of our readers:
Years ago on a TV show (sorry no idea what it was) I thought I remembered
that "NASA’s Deep Core Imaging Satelite" picked up the image of a matching
lady/goddess on a hill beside the Giant. She had been allowed to grow back
and was not visible without the use of this satelite.

Haunted Items
There seems to quite a few haunted tales concerning spirits or ghosts attached to certain items. There is the famous Spedlins Bible which became forever interlinked with the ghost when used to exorcise it. Other tales concern bodily parts such as skulls.
