Dear Sir Ian
Dear Sir Ian
I have recently been browsing through the forums on your mysterious website and have taken great interest in the responses posted as suggested explanations to the various phenomena experienced by a number of your contributors, although I must say that many of the said explanations are somewhat bizarre and perhaps are posted mainly for entertainment value!
I have noticed however that you, Ian, seem to respond and express your opinions and views on every single forum thread no matter the subject, which leads me to believe that you must be the person most qualified to offer an explanation to the significance and meaning of a recurring dream I have been experiencing of late.
In my dream I always find myself to be in an unfamiliar place. I cannot discern where this place is, as even road signage gives no indication to the location. I find the place is dark and feel trapped, in fact I find myself going through a range of emotions: I want to run, I want to hide, I want to tear down the walls that hold me inside.
In the distance I see something burning, and I feel I want to reach out and touch the flame. I want to feel sunlight on my face. A storm is gathering and as the wind strengthens I see a dust cloud disappear without a trace, and I want to take shelter from the hurricane.
It is at this point I usually wake up. Do you have any suggestions as to what this dream may mean. Am I perhaps psychic and I am picturing myself in a place in the past? When I wake up I often have in my mind’s eye an image of a lone standing tree which is somehow linked to a bible story. Maybe this clarifies matters or makes things more baffling!
I hope you can suggest an explanation. I have sought feasible explanations from various other websites, but to date I still haven’t found what I’m looking for.
Re: Strange Dreams
Hi Steve, welcome to the Mysterious Britain website. I must admit I know absolutely nothing about reading dreams, but I hope some of the other readers can assist you.

One of the things I like about this forum Steve is that everyones opinion counts, even if it is a little crazy đŸ™‚ We don’t see many fights going on here, so it is a nice place to post your opinions and yes I agree some have more entertainment value than actual value.
I’m sorry i don’t much abou dreams either, but welcome to the forum.

Might be an idea to leave U2 off the CD player for a while ( and perhaps Annie Lennox) I know Ian quite well and he is knowledgable but has not been knighted as yet. You could try listening to some ambient or trance music maybe pan pipes? they may help with the sleep. You might even find what you have been looking for.

i think it means that you are worried about something that u can’t get away from and u feel like something is coming something bad that will make u even more worried then finally what u are worried about happens!
