In an article entitled ‘Ghostly goings-on in the forest and beyond’, the Kent and Sussex Courier made the following refernce to a haunting on 23 December 2011. ‘There was the Boars Head ghost, whose appearances were confined to flitting to and fro across the road to Tunbridge Wells – an occupation not to be encouraged on the modern A26.’
