The Miners Arms, Gornal
The Miners Arms has played host to a few strange experiences. A figure has been seen a few times in the pub who simply disappears when he is spotted. He has been known to approach the bar as if to order a drink and then simply vanish.
On one occasion the pub experienced what can only be described as extreme poltergeist type activity. On coming downstairs one morning after hearing nothing during the night the landlord found all the furniture had been moved and a heavy cabinet pushed against the front door. No signs of forced entry or intruders could be found.
