I just joined up last night as there are many good topics to become involved in. It’s my hoping to get to know some of you via postings etc. I was born in London and have been living in Brighton now for 40 years.

Ok, this is probably one of the first introductions that is also an apology.  I joined the site over a year ago, posted one quick question about Folklore and disappeared again….. so very rude of me.

I got your newsletter and came back…and so I’m here tapping on the door, saying I’m really sorry and won’t be quite so rude and ill mannered again.

Greetings from a newcomer.  I found this site recently, and opted to join as I do believe that the paranormal is extant, though difficult to prove.  I do accept that there may be many on here who are barking mad (and I do not exclude myself here!), though I do hope that there will be many truly fascinating stories.

 Just a quickie to say hello to everyone at Mysterious Britain.  I’m interested in all aspects of mystery and intrigue, from folk tales to hauntings, black beasts to UFO’s.  I’ve been working on my own gazetteer for years (purely personal, not for publication) and so the discovery of this site is amazing.

I’m from the Liverpool area and have a huge interest in anything and everything paranormal or a bit off beat. As a recent history of art graduate I am particularly interested in its representation in the arts both past and present. Other interests include food, travel, music and booze.

Names Rob (or Quester- Q if ya like). Im pretty much a massive nerd so all of this is interest to me in some way or another. I love Britains myths and legends. I’m doing a BA in English and Im sure my disertation will include mythology in some way or another. Also I write.
